Meet the Coaches

Head Coach: Jennifer Ricketts '91

Coach Ricketts is excited to be back at Carondelet! She has been coaching for 30 years. As a graduate of Carondelet she understands and is passionate about the mission to develop women of heart, faith and courage. While primarily a soccer player, she decided to join track and field her junior year of high school for fitness in order to fulfill her dream of playing college soccer. Instantly, she fell in love with racing and has continued to run and race. She has run multiple marathons including Boston, ultra marathons including a 50k and 100k. She attended the University of California at Davis, where she ran, played soccer and coxswained the women's crew team.

Coach Ricketts is on campus as a visual arts teacher at De La Salle and has spent the last nine years on the DLS cross country coaching staff. She also was the distance coach for Carondelet track and field from 2016-2019.

Assistant Coach: Annemiek Hamelinck

Annemiek couldn’t be more excited to join Coach Ricketts’ coaching staff. Annemiek came to running later in life and has never looked back. An avid ultra runner, with multiple 100-milers, 100Ks, 50-milers and 50Ks under her belt, there's little that makes Annemiek happier than exploring our beautiful backyard trails. She also firmly believes that spending several hours on the trails brings out the best ideas. Annemiek is a certified running coach who has also coached several seasons of Girls on the Run while her daughters (both CHS graduates) were in elementary school. She loves geeking out on training plans, exploring the mental game of running, and bringing out the absolute best in those she coaches.

Assistant Coach: Phil Williamson

Coach Williamson is thrilled to assist and support Coach Ricketts' inaugural season leading the Carondelet XC team! He has been running since his freshman year at De La Salle many years ago and competed in XC and Track at UC Davis. He has previously been involved in CYO athletics as an assistant coach and then head coach for the Christ the King/St. Catherine/St. Stephen Cross Country and Track & Field teams where he enjoyed coaching his three daughters: Kylie (CHS '22), Sarah (CPHS '25), and Lauren (CHS '28). Coach Williamson is looking forward to working with Carondelet's high school athletes to share his love of running.
